How do I chain the filters to de-BOB a PAL Interlaced video stream of 25 frames (50 fields p/s) into a de-interlaced stream of 50 frames p/s?
My source material is a DV file, I would like to output to AVI for later compressing.
Thankhs

Go to Don Graft's page (http://sauron.mordor.net/dgraft) and download his Smart Bob filter and put it in the plugins folder of VirtualDub
Now start VirtualDub
When you open the file then select Popup Extended Open Options.
In the popup-box select Split interlaced frames into two fields. You may have to try it a few times to see if you need the swapped or unswapped version.
select video->filters:Add filter:Smart Bob (Don't remember how to configure this filter but start with the default values and see how it looks)
Now you can add other filters and compress to the codec of your choise.
