Does any program exist that will do this BUT keep original menu's?
Currently I"m using the combo of dvdshrink and IFOedit to do this but surely there must be a piece of software out there that will convert a PAL dvd to NTSC and retain menu's with one step???

No. And whatever you're using now to do it doesn't really do it either.

There is no conversion with those programs. The old IFOEdit hack changes a flag in the ifo and this does not work with most standalone players.
To do a proper conversion you need to reencode the video in the correct resolution. Using DGPulldown to add pulldown flags avoids having to adjust the speed of the audio. Then reauthor and convert menus by hand or use a program like NuMenu4U.
The easiest "1 click" solution is to buy a player that supports both PAL and NTSC. You could even build a HTPC or connect your computer or laptop to the TV.
