Hi,
I am currently trying to run an eyetracking experiment where I record participant's eye movement continuously while they complete a series of tasks. Then what I need to do is break up the video file into segments representing what I was presenting to them at that time then save each frame in the segment as a jpg (for further processing).
My problem is that while I have the experimental computer make a beep for each new task I have found that when I am examining the video frame by frame I have no way of knowing when the beep occurs. I only know when the beep occurs by playing the video at real speed. I then try to stop at the beep and then track back frame by frame until the point where I think the beep actually occurred. This is time consuming and fraught with errors so I am looking for a way to view the audio wave when looking at the video frame by frame (preferably) or any other soultion which will help me accurately break up the video.
I am happy to switch to another program if this not possible with VirtualDub but I am a relative newbie so simple solutions would be preferable.
Thanks!
