no audio with avi file

[Holyshit]

1) I’m running Vista x32 with SP2. I recorded some videos from my iphone, uploaded to my laptop and they were saved as .avi.
I click to play it, wmp opens, plays but I only get audio, NO VIDEO?

2) Opposite of above. My desktop, Vista x64, sp2 plays video but NO AUDIO.

What’s wrong?

get mediainfo and post the results here - we need to know what type of codec is used for video and audio...

P.S.: Try VLC-Media Player..does it play correctly?
