Hi folks
I'm wanting to use the shared job list in virtualdub to share encodes amongst various pcs i have about the house. standard process would be to queue up one's jobs, have the swarm connect and process.
this works fine for 1 pass encodes however, if one is doing multipass encodes (i.e. two jobs in the job list for on file), the system breaks down as each node needs to do the 1st and subsequent passes.
am i missing something here or is this a design limitation?
the alternative i've come up with is to create a separate job list for each node however, this sacrifices the efficiency gain of having a central job list.
cheers
