Hello,
I want to buy a standalone BD player for christmas and have a question concerning the compatibility of MKV and these players.
In detail I have planned to buy the LG BD550 because it seems to be a good BD player for less money.
Concerning this I have several questions and I hope you have some experiences for me:
1) Are MKV-files (with x264-video) splitted by MKVmerge playable?
2) Are MKV-files (with x264-video) in general mostly playable or are there any problems I should know?
3) How about BD50 shrinked by BD-Rebuilder to BD25? Are these playable without problems?
Thanks in forward.
