Hey there,

I wanna encode some vob files to mpeg2, but the audio switches.
sometimes the 1 first lane is the german then in the second vob the third is the english.

what can i do?

i use vidomi by the way and i'm open for programm advises!

VOBs are already MPEG-2

demux it and remux the needed parts to mp2 again...

tools needed: DGIndex(or PGCDemux or similar) and MuxMan

It's not illegal (;)) for English to be the third language of a VOB. Besides, the description of a VOB should be in the IFO files.

okay, my fault. i got a dvd with several audio lanes. in the first vob the english is the first one. in the second the english is the third and so on.
because i'm using an old version of vidomi, it can't select the lanes but uses everytime the first one for example as english.

hope my problem is more clear!

if someone knews a good tool, please tell me. i don't want to demux and remux :/

Yeah, and the approach is wrong.
You have to process each VOB or VOBs together with its/their corresponding IFO.

I thought that the muliplexer of TMPGenc can mux only 1 audio track. But I quit using it [really] long time ago, maybe the things got improved.

If these VOBs have some audio track you don't care, I would suggest using mpegdemux (http://www.hampa.ch/mpegdemux) which removes tracks avoiding demux and remux.
