Cinema Craft Encoder - Which version?

I found a How-To for DVD2SVCD and they say to add CCE SP 2.50 (and no other version). But I can't seem to find 2.5 anywhere! Will DVD2SVCD work with the newer demo versions? I was able to download a demo version but it is 2.62.

I've heard the newest versions of DVD2SVCD have a 'safe mode' that works with the 2.6x versions of CCE. I've also heard that 'safe mode' is a bit slower than regular mode.

But why is it cold a demo version..is there a time-limit on it? anything else not working in it?

And if there is, is there also a crack?

demo means that the output will have a cinemacraft logo on the screen at all times. Other than that the demo is the same as the full version. There is a crack but that's as far as you can go on this board.. don't ask for the crack since this will violate forum rules.. but there's always search engines ;)
