err I forgot, can I use an AVS file in TMPGenc?

I wanted to hardcode a subtitle in a movie. And I can do it with GordianKnot.. I was wondering if there was a way for TMPGenc to use an AVS file as the source?

I've already done what I wanted as a DivX file, and I want to try to create a SVCD mpeg2 stream. If I can use the AVS file as the source it would maintain the highest quality, otherwise I'll have to convert the Divx file into a mpg file (yuk)

Yes, TMPGEnc can recognize an AVS file and will encode.
However if you run into problems like TMPGEnc not responding when you try to use the AVS file as your video source, you can download the ReadAVS.dll TMPG plug in from the following link and follow the instructions to install it.
