I have a large library of movies I ripped to mkv and would like to stream without spending massive amounts of cash on hardware. A Roku XDS would fit my needs ... if not for it's lack of playing mkv files.
Unless I am doing something wrong, converting just one 720p 6gb mkv file via Ripbot takes up to 4 hours (i7 950 oc 4GHz using all cores .. HT) which is not feasible for my entire library.
Any faster options?
