tsMuxer only Demuxing about 64% of Blu-ray Movie

I am hoping this is a simple problem to solve.I have checked the tsMuxer thread,but it is now so huge that searching is a task in itself.
I have only experienced this problem recently,but has occured in the last two disks I have tried to Demux. Master and Commander and Day after Tomorrow.
I load the correct mpls file into latest tsMuxer 1.10.6 and it only demuxes around 61-64% then simply freezes and announces demux complete,which of course it is'nt.

Now I am aware that Eac3to is capable of demuxing as well,but I am not familiar with command line structure for demuxing Blu-ray video tracks.HD-DVD's are no problem because the GUI is set up for Demuxing VOB's.I do use Eac3to but generally to convert to AC3.

Any ideas how to solve this problem?:thanks:

You can try HdBrStreamExtractor (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=141829) (eac3to GUI), also included in MeGUI (Tools -> HD Streams Extractor)

Thank you Tebasuna.This is a GUI I had been looking for to use with Eac3to.
With regard to the problem,it still persists even with Eac3to.

Here is the log.I assume from this it is a disk error.If so its happened with two disks in a row.In this case at 61%.The Gui signals demuxing complete,but the log indicates an error.

Does this suggest a disk problem? Plays fine in normal viewing.

Yes, seeing as the error specifies it's a read error, I think your source is corrupt (disk space should result in a write error).

Are you trying to demux directly from the disc using on-the-fly decrpytion? If so, Id say that's the cause - rip the whole disc to your hard disk first then try demuxing again.

Hi!

The OP says: has occured in the last two disks I have tried to DemuxI'd think the odds wuld be against two different discs being corrupted at the same point - unless the drive is actively damaging them while they're being read...

Apologies for not responding over the last number of days,but our phone line has been down for a week.

Thanks for all the replies.I can confirm that the source disks were corrupt.I managed to get another copy of one of the disks and it demuxed without a hitch,on the fly.

Incidentally I also tried to copy the whole disk to my hard drive and the read error still occured.
So if one of the disks is corrupt,the other is to.

As mentioned for two disks in a row to fail is unusual,but it can happen.:thanks:
