current consumer cameras have big depth of field because of small chips. but some of them can handle 1080@50p (Panasonic tm700).
could it be possible to do the 'blur out' or 'in-out focusing' in postprocessing (in reasonable time)?
i know that such 'big blur' filter exists in avisynth (http://www.animemusicvideos.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=101724&p=1348995#p1348995)
know that exists something called coloring for avisynth.
could something like this be used for quick masks?
