I had some videos I processed before BDRB had the avs filter feature. Most are .m2ts files with an external .srt file. Just for grins I set the output a bit bigger than the input size. Wow!! I got some kick-ass throughput!
The first run I got nearly 4.x throughput on the video encoding. I just did another run where the input size was about 6 GB and I set the output to BD9. I got about 3.3x speed on the video encoding!! I think this is my new fast method of burning in subs when I can go from small to large. So far the ones I've done look good and get done in a hurry!!
This is with my usual settings of "good" profile one pass abr.
