Problem Processing some Family Guy episodes

Hi, I have a problem in my Family Guy episodes just like this guy (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=130010) has ...

I understood the code MOmonster gave him wouldn't work, and I even tried - it's not working....
so, can anyone help me suit the code for my needs?

We need a sample made from the original VOB without re-encoding. Cut a relevant VOB section with DGSplit or cut and demux to M2V with DGIndex.

It IS the original file.
Since I know Avisynth can handle an avi file, it should be OK, am I right?
if it's a must, I can convert the file to VOB, but is it really necessary?

No, it isn't. If you don't own the rights to the material in question we can't help you. Since it's not DVD format and TV is not broadcast/captured with MP3 audio (to say nothing of XVID video compression), that's clearly not the original file.

Oh, and what if I tell you those problems exist on some of the DVD's? that guy I mentioned said that, pretty suspicious, huh? or was he lying and it was a pirated file?
the VOB file is not the original file either, the original one is the one in FOX's offices, so theoretically, no one owns the original file.

If you had lurked this board a bit more, you'd know that the D9 peeps have no time for pirates. If however, you do have a real VOB file, I'd suggest uploading a small chunk of it, quickly. Otherwise this thread will end up locked by a mod.

well, I can't say I did, I'm fairly new here.
