VRO converter needed

My DVD recorder output is a DVD_RTAV directory with a VRMANGR,IFO and VR_MOVIE.VRO files inside.

I would like to convert these to an *.avi file.

How can this be done? ( freeware would be nice)

Hi!

Not free, but if I remember correctly, "TMPGEnc DVD Author" is capable of processing such files...

While the previous answer is correct, if you insist in using freeware, then rename the VRO into VOB (or MPG) and be happy.

Beware though, the VRO file is a container in which there are VOBs of different frame sizes, ARs and qualities. be sure you know what you're doing.
