I have tried to burn some 50GB BD with movies on (Romeo and Juliet for example). I used Nero 10 and have made sure I've chosen UDF 2.5. I've dragged and dropped the BDMV and Certificate folders I had on my HDD (I ripped them with AnyDVD HD); the result is Sony and Panasonic Players play the BD-R perfectly, while PS3 after starting reading it reports:

Error 80029906 not valid disc

I've looked around the internet but I found no mention of this trouble. The home made discs made on BR-R 50GB using scenarist play fine on PS3. What's the difference between the m2ts made by scenarist setting the copypermission flag to 0 and the ones made by anydvd? maybe anydvd doesn't set to 0 the 1st 2 bits in m2ts once they are copied on Hard Disk?

Can anyone help me? Thanks

To read something on a BD-R or BD-RW with the ps3 you have to change a flag in all the m2ts stream. this the permission flag.

If you make a backup, maybe you can try to parse the files with the sun tools before to burn to bd-r
