Probably @skycore who seems to have recommended (or pushed?) this tool BDFix. http://defsoft.com/bdfix.html

What is it? As far as I can see it seems to be a translation (or code fork) of BDZG (http://zigtool.com/bdzg.html)

I tried the free version, seems to be pretty buggy and featureless.

Buggy: objected to badly a mastered disk that had an M2TS missing that was refered to in a playlist (just gave an error message)

Buggy: The instruction at "0x0044c566" references memory at 0x00000000". Blah blah blah and then crashed on demux

Featureless: Other than demuxing which tsMuxeR or eac3to can do for me it didn't do much else.

Mrr19121970, thanks for your honest criticism! I believe BDFix will have some bugs as it is a new tool. I sincerely hope you can give me more help to solve them if you like. Maybe you misunderstood the tool's purpose. It is not to replace other existing tools. I just want to provide a new choice for user. Maybe some people like it. Who knows! Thanks to you again! The free edition is at http://www.defsoft.com/downloads/bdfix.exe.

@skycore

Hi!

1) What is the nature of your affiliation with "BDFix" and "Defsoft?
2) $239 - Must be a typo - Perhaps $23.90?

I had chance to have a deeper look, bugs aside has potential. As setarip_old says, the price tag is too high for the full version. The freeware version was the one I used.

Do you plan to actively develop the software, or only periodically (like tsMuxeR)?

Bugs

. Spelling mistakes in GUI (eg Primaray)
. One time when 'Build New BDMV' it didn't actually parse the movie (yes I deselected some streams) but just used windows copy. Yes, this is a wooly description that is more of a rant as it does not give you enough information to recreate the problem.
. The original PIDs are not retained. This means that when you remove a stream and build the BDMV the menus get broken. I consider this an essential feature.

Nice To Haves

. Choice to auto select/deselect all: Languages (of subtitles/audio), audio types per language, pip
. Logging (ie describe what has been done, or is about to be done) - important also for bug reporting
. Command line version to access demuxer/remuxer directly from other GUIs
. Project saving (ie so we can recreate a rip, or use an existing rip as a starting point)
. Embed preview in GUI rather than launch windows media player
. Multi language GUI
. A dedicated file copy (rather than Windows file copy), especially usefull on very large files. See open source FastCopy for a sample.
. Dedicated FAQ/Help forum (hosted on your own web page)

I didn't actually test the output, but I'm already wondering if the MPLS are built correctly in seamless branching titles and if navigation still works here?

I am puzzled as to why you are interested in this, when you already have build the "BD with Menus" program? Why aren't you enhancing that yourself? I tried it a couple times and it seems whenever vids preceding the menu are blanked, the result doesn't play.

All the disks I've ever built play with PowerDVD, Arcsoft TMT3, TVIX M6500a and my PS3. I have no other hardware to test on, nobody else reported there was a problem to me.

My program partly relies on tsMuxeR, which is not without it's own issues.

First, please excuse me if this upsets someone. The latest version is 1.2.8.8. You can get it from http://www.defsoft.com/downloads/bdfix.exe

@setarip_old, thanks for your kind reminder. About the price, you can assume that is a typo if you like.

@mrr19121970, Many thanks to you for your valuable information and suggest.

. Spelling mistakes in GUI (eg Primaray)
Yes, fixed some. Probably still exist.

One time when 'Build New BDMV' it didn't actually parse the movie.
I think you probably used mpls mode for multi-segments, if you really want to delete one track from mpls and its m2ts, please right click the track and uncheck it from the popup menu. Regular uncheck only hide the track from current mpls in fact. Please download the newest version as i forgot to open it in the last version.

The original PIDs are not retained. This means that when you remove a stream and build the BDMV the menus get broken. I consider this an essential feature.

About the PIDs, it is not directly related to the playback. As mpls uses STN to assign stream number. Menu won't get broken because of PID value. It is easy to retain PIDs, but we have met the playback issue on some players for discontinuous PID before.

. Choice to auto select/deselect all: Languages (of subtitles/audio), audio types per language, pip

Good idea, added already.

. Logging (ie describe what has been done, or is about to be done) - important also for bug reporting

Disable in the release version.

. Command line version to access demuxer/remuxer directly from other GUIs

Maybe in the future.

. Project saving (ie so we can recreate a rip, or use an existing rip as a starting point)

Not very necessary, only a few clicks.

. Embed preview in GUI rather than launch windows media player

Maybe no much difference for user.

. Multi language GUI

Add in the future.

. A dedicated file copy (rather than Windows file copy), especially usefull on very large files. See open source FastCopy for a sample.

Maybe no much difference from user perspective.

. Dedicated FAQ/Help forum (hosted on your own web page)

In the near future.

BDfix LE from $169 to $599 and Pro from $239 to $995
also SupConverter Pro from $99 to $239 and DualSup more than twice  Such price increases have not seen at any software.
