I'm currently using 5770's DisplayPort. If I turn off my monitor, the card tells Windows that the monitor is disconnected. I think it does that even if my monitor is only standby, and send my monitor into high/low power mode loop. The setup and resolution also get messed up.
I would like to know if Nvidia's card suffer the same thing? I would appreciate any info on that. Thank you.

It's not in there reference cards, but there are some. For example, Zotac's 460 has displayport.

first, update your catalyst drivers, then, if you're still having that problem, try updating your videocard bios to the latest version.

I have the lastest driver. Not sure about bios. So you don't have this problem in AMD card?

i dont have a monitor with a displayport.
however if a newer bios doesnt fix it or doesnt exists, contact the card and the display manufacturers and ask fot a solution.
