I now understand how to get transparent watermarks in VD. I can't
believe that I missed the RGB adjustment :-) Thanks to Acaila !
But this was a Flask watermark question so I wanted to post it in
the Flask forum.

I tried to make a few bitmap watermarks for flask in 96x32x24 bitmap, but am missing something.
What do I need to do to create a watermark for Flask in adobe or
photopaint, Any tips would be great.

Thanks, Ron

Man, this is the same issue i'm having problems.

You can't make a watermark/overlay in Xmpeg can you? I know you can in flask.

but i want to add it to already finished Avi's.

you know how to do this?

Virtual Dub lets you ad watermarks fairly easy to avi
type files with the logofilter ad on program.
The reason I wanted to also know how to do logo's or watermarks
in Flask was to be able to add it to a mpeg1 or mpeg2 format without
having to convert it back to an avi to do it.
I saw a forum post about flask about a year ago and can no longer
find it. It said something about creating the bitmap with an alpha
channel, also flask had a max. size you could not go over for the bitmap.
