Remember, most if not all (and in this case Realtek did it, too) quote listed S/N ratios of the ADC and DAC. Each component between your source and the ADC and vice-versa, from DAC to your receiver, alter this, sometimes dramatically (if embedded).
And no info about the distortions (they make a LakePeople or an Apogee cost 1000x more than a Creative (:)) with the same specs).
