DVD Decrypter in IFO mode. Make sure to enable "stream processing", select only the main movie title (DVD Decrypter can be set to auto-select the longest title), then uncheck all audio and subtitle streams you don't want.

If you find that the DVD has copy protection that DVD Decrypter can't break on its own, run DVD Decrypter on top of AnyDVD - make sure to set DVD Decrypter's I/O method to elbycdio.sys so DVD decrypter interacts properly with the drive through AnyDVD.

ok thanks.
that sounds easy.
I have done that before with dvddecrypter.
But did not know that it can deselect audio streams.

You might also be interested in MakeMKV (http://www.makemkv.com/). It can extract the video and any audio and subpic streams directly from a DVD, and pack them in a MKV container, preserving the chapter points and without quality loss. It is completely free for the DVDs, but will be payware for the blu-ray discs. The MKV container is much more easy to handle by the software players than the VOB files without IFOs.
