Mods, please move this thread to the appropriate section because I'm not really sure where to put it. I recently had to rewatch my orientation video for the service island at my shop since they said they couldn't find the paperwork showing confirmation, (nevermind that was almost 16 years ago and I'd moved onto the floor as a mechanic and just recently had to cover the service island again since they let one of the SE's go .:rolleyes:) The difference this time was that video was on dvd instead of vhs tape. That dvd was a straight video transfer of what was clearly an worn tape with the different modules given their own chapter. There was one problem that I couldn't identify that's driving me crazy because I'm positive I've seen mentioned but I don't know the name for it. The top third of the picture had a strange red to blue flashing effect in certain spots. It was clearest when the standard four color hazardous warning decal was shown. The red box pulsed between red and blue for several seconds. I'd like to know what this problem is and how to prevent or fix it for my own transfers.
