Hello,

I'm running MPC-HC 1.4.2499.0 on a Windows XP computer. I'm interested in finding a way to framestep backwards and forwards in MPC-HC when I watch some DVDs that I've saved on the HD.

I've found some forum posts that recommend changing the default MPEG-2 splitter for this, and I've been successful in stepping backwards frame by frame on VOB files when I've used the MainConcept MPEG Splitter along with the LEAD MPEG2 Decoder (or both the LEAD splitter and decoder).

But when I try to play the Video_TS.IFO file for DVDs, the filters MPC-HC always uses are DVD Navigator and the internal MPEG-2 Video Decoder, even though I've disabled that decoder in Options. I've tried changing the merits of the filters, and I've also tried adding the MainConcept splitter and LEAD decoder as preferred external filters. Nothing has changed, though.

Does anyone know if there's a way to activate these filters in MPC-HC for a Video_TS.IFO file? Or is there some other way to step backwards on IFO files in MPC-HC? Ideally, I'd like to be able to watch the DVDs this way with menu and chapter functionality, but I'm not sure how possible this is. Thanks for any suggestions!
