Hey all,
I was experimenting with converting a subtitle file in subrip format (.srt) to the Scenarist format (.stl) format.
I came across this site which does this conversion online:
http://www.michaelcinquin.com/tools/subtitles/srt_to_dvdsp
But when I tried to open a .stl file in my WinXP Pro (32-bit, SP3) system, Windows gave an error about the file not being a proper "Certified Trust List" file.
So I configured my system to open a .stl file with notepad (so I can do edits in my Scenarist-based subtitle file) instead of being associated with whatever application/process was causing the Certified Trust List error.
Did I do "a bad thing" to my system? I'm not sure, so I'm coming to the experts here. Thanks in advance.
