View Full Version : Issues capturing from laptop (Intensity Pro)

A friend recently purchased a new laptop and I've been trying to be able to capture video footage from it using my Intensity Pro from various PC games. For the first couple days, things seemed to work fine. Then about two weeks ago I connected the laptop to the capture card and things just went to hell. Red/Cyan lines appear all over the place whenever I connect it anymore.

Oddly enough, this doesn't happen in 640x480 NTSC mode, but only HD resolutions. I'm just curious if anyone else ran into this, or maybe knows what could be up?

I've already tested my cables and they are working great. The card itself is capturing just fine from my Xbox 360 so I'm at a loss here. Toshiba support is just abysmal, telling us twice that they will have a Level 3 technician call us back and never doing so. I've also done a system recovery to be sure that its not a driver issue.

Here is a screen of what I'm seeing. Sometimes things get so bad that the display just blinks out. Color changes (usually opening a program on that display) sometimes get it back to sync.

Any help is appreciated!
