I was talking (http://forum.wdlxtv.com/viewtopic.php?f=33&t=1733) on b.rad-cc board about a feature we would like to have, i.e. the possibility to set WDTV if play subtitles, not play or play only the ones with "forced" flag.
It seems that there is no simple way or simple source program to get them detected. Any idea or hint?
Thanks.

Do you mean a subtitle track with the "forced" flag set in the track headers? That's just as easy as finding out any other flag in a Matroska file. E.g. mkvinfo shows the flag if it is present (if it isn't its default value "0" or "no" takes effect).

I mean a open source to be implemented in B.Rad firmware for WDTV and being able to detect if a srt file has been muxed as forced or not. Do you kind get a look here (http://forum.wdlxtv.com/viewtopic.php?f=33&t=1733)? It would be very kind of you.

I'm not in the mood to register at yet another forum, so "not really". The "forced" flag is simply a flag in the track headers, just like the "default track" flag. Anyone dealing with reading the Matroska container will have no problem implementing support for it.

Nobody asks you to register anything. To get a look only a click is needed. :(

I've read the posts. Now what? What I said earlier still remains true. I don't understand what kind of help you actually want...

BTW: SUP subtitles are a totally different matter as they can have a 'forced' flag set for each data packet if I'm not mistaken. That feature is nothing I can help you with anyway.
