ok here we go, so Ive backed up a bunch of my bd disks with no problems and then i tried to back up "the matrix" and it gave me some problems so i updated a bunch of the programs and that didnt help so i gave up on "The Matrix" and redownloaded all the programs from the main BDrebuilding thread and tried AVP. seemed to go great, then i burnt it to my bdr 25 with img burn like i all ways do, but when i put in my blu ray player it wont read. just sits there repeating "now reading" on the tv screen.
heres the bd log. if anyone can help id appreciat it. Ive made coasters out of 5 disks and ive never had a problem till now. thanks.

heres the bd log of AVP

@sf49ers (After yesterday's game, you might consider a name change ;>})

This post definitely belongs in the "BD-Rebuilder Bug Report" thread.

You should ask a moderator to move it.

so you think its a bug or just something stupid i did that you can see from the bd log?

"The Matrix" is one of the discs I use for testing. You should be able to do it with no issues. I'd question the disc.

I just went back and looked... what region is that version of "The Matrix". It is using MPEG-2 -- that's really odd for an HD disc. On my copy of "The Matrix" the movie is all in one M2TS and is encoded with VC-1.

ok stupid question, but how do i find out the region? i set the region to automatic in anydvdhd. i was just able to back up my I,Robot (not that i really wanted that one backed up.lol) with out any problems.

In what country did you buy it? The regions include different parts of the world.

Also, I'm confused. Is the log you posted from "The Matrix" or "AVP"? "LOGICAL_VOLUME_ID" doesn't give much clarity.

North Ameria. Northern NY. in anydvd would that be region 1?

North Ameria. Northern NY. in anydvd would that be region 1? Are you sure this is an original disc of "The Matrix" and hasn't been preprocessed? I just checked around and couldn't find a version that is anything but VC-1 in Region 1 (there are two -- one is just "The Matrix" and the other it the 10th Anniversary Edition). See my second question in the previous post.

yep, i looked at the disk and everything looks right. doesnt look like a knockoff copy. how else can i tell?

ok sorry about that i got side tracked on the Matrix. but yes that is the log on AVP. Im still having troubls with both but i gave up on the Matrix and working on AVP

edit
ive tried it with the new bdrebuilder 3410 and anydvdhd 6688 and still wouldnt play.

Help please. I know i could have purchased a new AVP as a back up on the amount of disks ive lost but thats not the fun of it now is it. lol

ok sorry about that i got side tracked on the Matrix. but yes that is the log on AVP. Im still having troubls with both but i gave up on the Matrix and working on AVP

edit
ive tried it with the new bdrebuilder 3410 and anydvdhd 6688 and still wouldnt play.

Help please. I know i could have purchased a new AVP as a back up on the amount of disks ive lost but thats not the fun of it now is it. lol Are you burning it with BD-RB's interface to ImgBurn? If not, I have no idea whether you're using the correct settings. I notice that the log shows no errors, but it also isn't showing that you have "Autoburn to Disc" selected from the output menu.

im using just Image burn.not the BD interface. im not sure what it is. I just did "The Ugly Truth" for the wife and that worked fine.

@sf49ers;
Do you have a BD Live enabled player? If so, do you have a wireless or wired ethernet connection?
I have experienced what you described, only with BD5/9 full backups. But if I turn off the Blu-ray player, unplug my ethernet cable and remove my usb stick ( required for my Sony S360 ), then turn on the player and reinsert the disc it would then work properly.
May or may not work for you, but could be worth a try.

i looked at the disk and everything looks right. doesnt look like a knockoff copy. how else can i tell? By knowing where you purchased it?

Hi! usb stick ( required for my Sony S360)
Please clarify - are you saying that your 360 REQUIRES you to have a USB stick plugged in? If so, why?

Hi!

For BD Live to work, I need a seperate usb stick plugged in. There is no internal memory to download the content to.
I have several full backups to BD5/9 that just won't load and proceed to the trailers or menu if I have the ethernet cable plugged in. It is probably not effected by the usb stick though. I just know when I remove both the ethernet cable and the usb stick, those same movies will now work properly.
The same movie burned to BD-R does not have this problem though, but since I experienced this dilemma before, I thought it was worth mentioning just in case.

@Capsbackup

Thanks for clarifying.

"Ethernet" and "BD Live" are words/phrases and activities I avoid like the plague, as I'm determined that my 360 shall remain as pristine and isolated as the day I purchased it (So far, so good ;>})

AFAIK all Sonies need the stick for BD-live, most/some of them came already with 1GB one in the package.
