Hallo,
i've tested several drivers for my Typhoon analog capture card (Philips SAA7134 / Philips FM1256 MK3 TV Tuner).
PCI\VEN_1131&DEV_7134&SUBSYS_01385168&REV_01

Some important functions aren't working:

'Capture pin' shows 320x240 only (workaround by selecting 'Custom Format' in VirtualDub).

Capture and tuner work but picture is too dark and hardware controls don't work.

I've checked around 10 drivers so far from XP or WindowsUpdate, WDM and BDA without success. AMCap and Virtualdub as host software. Old Virtualdub v1.6.1 with old VfW interface does work though.

Most recent drivers i have (~2007):
Encore Electronics, Inc v2.3.1.2
Philips reference Saa713x v2.3.1.0
AVHybrid - Streaming Media and Broadcast - TV Card 7134
LifeView - Streaming Media and Broadcast - FlyTV P34+
LifeView - Streaming Media and Broadcast - FlyTV Prime 34
LifeView - Streaming Media and Broadcast - TV Card 7134
Philips - Streaming Media and Broadcast - TV Card 7134

Most of these drivers worked properly in XP.

Win7 32Bit
SAA7134

Any suggestions or confirmed working drivers?

I think i found a solution (more or less):

Use 'Microsoft WDM Image Capture (Win32) (VFW)' as fallback device. It allows configuration and hardware control of the device. Hardware settings don't get lost when switching to other drivers so you can also use the DirectShow BDA driver afterwards.

If you need a 7134 driver (x86/x64) go here (http://catalog.update.microsoft.com/v7/site/Search.aspx?q=flytv%20prime%2034). Mine is 'LifeView - Streaming Media and Broadcast - FlyTV Prime 34' (25.05.2007 - v13.35.6.1).
