indexing is not done on the GPU.

sorry, i should have been more specific. only the decoding part is done on the GPU, so an indexer is a software that runs only on the CPU.

What I mean is that I could use an indexer/decoder for ATI ® STREAM ™ just as there is made one of Nvidia's CUDA.

it could be possible WHEN ati/amd will release the new stream sdk that will include OpenDecode. Until then the UVD is not accessible from OpenCL.
