I have tried the add logo feature in VD, It worked ok,
the problem I was having is I do not know how to create a
transparent logo or watermark. All my logos have the box
for the size logo I created. Any tips on how to make a
transparent logo.

Thanks Ron

On the right side of the filter settings page is a box called "Transparent Color". Check the "Enable" box and just set what color you want as transparent color by inputting their Red/Green/Blue values.

Thanks , that did it. It works great. What threw me in Logo Filter for VirtualDub was the two sample logos had a transparent color
of blue 255 and it preloads the blue value 255 first if you load
the sample logo first. Re-adjusted the color for my logo and works perfect.

Had a Flask logo question also, but posted it in the flask forum.

Sorry for bringing up this oooooooold thread again. As I do use the search function before posting something I found this post which dealt with exactly my problem (cannot create a logo with transparent parts). But the solution indicated in this thread doesn't work in a recent version VD.

Does anybody here know a reason?

thx

What color are you using as the transparent color?

You might want to try changing it to a different color and see if that will become transparent. Are you remembering to use 255 as the color to make it transparent?

I've found a logoplugin vor VD which offers the option of a transparent color. It's called something like logo1.4b3 or so..

It works, but I'm missing the option of semi transparency. With the version I have you cannot use antialiasing for a logo...
