I cant get toolame or any other third party mp2 encoder to work with TMPGEnc, it says creating temporal wave file then crashes, has no sound after finishing or crashes are we talking about an incompatibility with the O’s or is their something I’m missing, please help this is really pissing me off i've tried every normal thing that you would do.

What movie and what type of file are you trying to create.

Try clearing your temp directory. In windows 98/me it is C:\windows\temp. I don't have access to my win2k box right now but it's something like C:\documents and settings\username\local settings\temp.

Yeah, use BeSweet (don't forget the gui) and create a WAV file. Then load the WAV file as the audio source in TMPGENC

I find it difficult to mux/demux/cut/edit blah blah MPEG 1/2 files... I don't think its just me =P I think most of the apps are not stable... now I haven't tried adobe premier... hmm maybe I ought to give that a go ^_^

Ok, I think I didn't understand your question in the first place.... ummm I guess I don't know the answer... I haven't explored that far yet... Why would you need an external encoder to encode a mp2 file? Whats wrong with the builtin one?
