Hi All,
I have video which was shot 50i but has lost a field. So I have vertical and temporal resolution issues.
There is a lot of discussion about de-interlacing and recreating missing fields, but mostly it seems that people are starting with progressive footage or at least 'complete' footage.
I have made various attempts with eedi2 and tdeint, but I don't seem to be getting noticeable results. Perhaps I am on the right path but have not hit upon the right settings.
I do not have access to the source footage and can't put the missing field back in. So I need to interpolate it... somehow!
I'm aiming to get back to 50i, without any of the temporal and vertical resolution problems I have at the moment.
Help and guidance appreciated
