I purchased a Sony BDP-BX2 Blu-Ray player from Costco 4 months ago. Since that time I have played maybe 30 blu-ray movies and about 10 of those blu-rays would freeze up at several points during the movie (very annoying and the freezing resulted in the loss of several minutes of the movie). Is this a common problem for this model? I noticed that most of the blu-ray movies that froze up had “BDLive” – does that make a difference? I never used the BDLive feature. . .
I'm thinking about returning the BX2 and upgrading to a BDP-BX37. Is this a good idea? Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks!
