Convertting Videos from .rm to .avi

Hi !!

Can aomeone please tell me how to convert videos in .rm format to .avi (Xvid or Divx) so I can play it directly on my TV ? I normally use AutoGK to convert "normal" videos to .avi. Will this be able to perform the task ?

Also, the .rm videos have been split into 4 separate videos. Can Avidemux be used to join the 4 videos ?

They are non DRM indian music video clips downloaded from the Internet.
