Ok... I used V-strip to rip the AC3 from "The Replacements" The movie is 88 min long and AC3 output was 271meg. Well I want to convert the AC3 to wav. The reason I even used V-strip in the begginning is the Graphedit filter on recongized one AC3 file and that just happened to be French. V-strip got the English AC3. Normally I use graphedit to rip the audio Mpeg2Avi for the video and virtualdub to multiplex. I want to convert the AC3 to wav so that i can combine it w/ the AVI to have the final movie.... and yes i know you can simply just use the AC3 but i would rather not... as it will probably create problems.
Ok-- problem with Besweetusing azid--- the final output of the wav file was 233meg and 20mins long!!!! The actual wav file when played was playing 2 or 3 time the correct speed. What happened how do i fix this?
Alternative... using Graphedit.
used this process:
1 . In the menu, choose Graph/Insert Filters and a window opens. Open the list DirectShow Filters.
2. Insert the filter File Source (Async.), and select your AC3 file
from the opened window.
3. Insert the filter AC3 Parser Filter and link the connections output and input.
4. Insert the filter Cyberlink Audio Decoder and link the connections audio in on AC3.
5. Insert the filter WAV Dest and link the connections Audio out on in.
6. Insert the filter File Writer, a window opens and you have to choose the name and path to store the WAV file. Link the connections In and Out.
Problem File Source(Async.) output arrow will not connect to the AC3 Parser Filter. It continues to say that the 2 filters are compatible.
Any and all help would be greatly helpful... normally i dont even have to deal w/ ripping the AC3 file in such a way... but in this case I have to. Thanx.
