I have a problem with a CD of mine. The 9th track on the CD has a full version of the song "A Maiden's Prair" from The Slayers TV show. This song is a duet. The 22nd track has a karaoke version of the song with the main character, Lina, singing, so you can sing as Ameria. The 23rd track has a karaoke version of the song with the Ameria, singing so you can sing as Lina. I have friends who both know the song and would like to karaoke at the same time with no voice at all. I already checked, and it seems that both voices (it doesn't , matter which track) have either voice in either channel, so, I can't just take out the left or right channel.

So I thought: if I took the 9th and 22nd track and subtractively mixed them, I would get a WAV with Lina's voice only, and no music. If I did the same with the 9th and 23rd track and subtractively mixed them, I would get a WAV with Ameria's voice only, and no music. Then, if I regularly mixed them I would get a WAV with Both voices at the same time, and no music. Then, If I subtractively mixed that new WAV from the 9th track, I would get a WAV with the music and no voices at all! :)

Unfortunatley, I don't know if there is such a thing as subtractive mixing. :(

Any ideas?
