Hello.
can some one help? i Need information where can i buy HD DVD ROM for my Pc
i do have 30 HD dvd movie. I want to ripp to my media player

I'd suggest you purchase an Xbox360 HD-DVD drive. They are incredibly cheap on eBay / craigslist etc, and work perfectly fine with a PC. They are external USB only, however. Mounting it internally is challenging!

Alternatively, you could get a BluRay reader/writer that also supports reading HD-DVD. LG makes such drives, and I have one in one of my workstations at the office.

LG makes such drives...They are "rare as hen's teeth" these days, but what you want to look for are the LG drives that end with H20L, which include afaik GGW-, GGC-, and GBC-, this latter being advertised as BD only but which can be re-flashed to a GGC-H20L with HD-DVD capability as well as BD (read only of course, only the GGW is a BD writer).

Indeed. Finding an Xbox360 drive on the used market will probably be the easiest and cheapest way :)

Well the GGC-H20L is a (black-bezelled) INTERNAL drive and the Xbox a (creme-colored) external afaik. Probably will find the Xbox to be cheapest, but of course the H20L drives also support Blu-ray. I don't think the xbox drive does.

I use AnyDVD HD to rip my HD DVD's.

I just turn on AnyDVD HD and process the disc using eac3to.

Ermh...just copy it to hard drive and burn it again (use DVD43 if you encounter problems with copying)? Or to be simplier: Get a good burning Software and press "Clone DVD". Or if you want to strip the HD-DVD to your needs:
DVD Rebuilder with HCEnc 024 Beta.

If you want to recode the whole thing, then use (damn*i don't like to say this) DgIndex.

After that you can use Avisynth and VD.

Normally you should not have any problems installing and using anydvd hd. But if you have problems their technical support is there to help you.

1- I’m using any DVD rip to my hard drive folder
With 3 file 1video and 1 audio, video.log
2- Open aec3to add video and audio extract completed
Mkv picture look great but no sound
3- Open mkvmerge add video and audio to
Start Mixing. Giving me error
Have no idea what's problem or m I missing some info.
Please any one advice
