Can I copy with PgcEdit

I don't know if there is a quicker way. I have edited a dvd with various film in separate titles and a menu. I have other dvd's that I want to compile with different film but similar navigation and number of titles.

I had previously deleted all PGC Commands and copied the completed disc commands (using highlight, copy, paste for each title) and pasted into my new compilation and then Trace through to make sure that everything goes to the right place, but this is tedious, so is there a quicker method to copy these commands into the other disc? Thankyou.

Use the replace function in vobblanker, if the movies are striking similar in terms of navigation and contained streams.
Example:
disk 1: main movie with 2 audio and 3 subtitles, trailer, chapter menu
disk 2: main movie with 2 audio (same languages as movie 1) and 3 subtitles (same languages as movie 1), trailer, chapter menu (same number of chapters as movie 1)
and so on.

If the languages are different and the chapter menu contains icons, then you have to reedit the menus too and use the same replace function in vobblanker.

With PgcEdit, you can use File -> PGC Commands -> Import and Export All PGC commands. The commands of the current DVD will be saved in a folder, as one file per PGC. When you re-import them, PgcEdit replaces the PGC commands with the content of the corresponding file, and do not change the commands of the PGCs for which there is no exported file. You can therefore rename some files if you want, to import them at different places automatically or delete some files to skip the replace operation for some PGCs, or you can manually import the files one at a time (in the current PGC). You can even edit the content of the files before importing them (but do it at your own risk!)
There is also a similar function to import and export all menu button commands.

If you wish, you can also create a simple DVD template, with a single dummy title and a standard menu. When you need to reauthor a new title from scratch, you can simply copy your template somewhere, and use File -> Import VTST Titles to overwrite the original dummy title with a real one, and use VobBlanker to change the default menu background image. I use that method often when I want to keep a movie recorded from the TV, as I don't like at all the authoring made by my recorder. That method is much more rapid and less tedious than having to re-author the DVD produced by the recorder from scratch.

The third trick I use to quickly reauthor a DVD is the scratchbook. I have stored in the default scratchbook the commands I need often when I reauthor a DVD, and it is really simple to copy/paste them. Of course, there are still some manual edits to do, but the scratchbook can be a valuable time saver.

Thankyou, I did see that Import/Export but wasn't game to try it in case it wrecked something beyound recovery but I understand it now and will try that.
