There are 2 different TrueHD streams:
(1) TrueHD+AC3. This is a mixed format. There are both (alternating) TrueHD and AC3 frames in the stream.
(2) TrueHD. This stream only contains TrueHD frames and no AC3 frames.
All Blu-Ray TrueHD streams are (1). All HD DVD TrueHD streams are (2). eac3to can convert between both stream types. Converting from (1) to (2) is very easy: The AC3 frames are simply removed.

En !!! ....... How ???

I believe (somebody correct me if I'm wrong) that this should do it:
eac3to "Blu-RayInput" 1) 3: Output.thd
Assuming that Blu-RayInput is your Blu-Ray folder, the Title containing the track is 1, and the track number for your TrueHD stream is 3.

Similar syntax:
eac3to input.thd+ac3 output.thd
or use a GUI like UsEac3to:
- Load the thd+ac3
- Click 'Add' with 'Output format'=thd
- 'Run Command line'

This reminds me to ask.
Do we have any applications/methods that make it possible to mux TrueHD streams (without AC3 core) into the .M2TS container?

I never try, but seems tsMuxer or tsRemux don't work.

None of VLC's muxing options work either...

They are will not work as long create Blu-Ray "compatible" m2ts streams. Blu-Ray audio specification is really complicated, and big waste of space in some cases.

Thankfully though, the creation of transport streams does not necessarily have to be restricted to the Blu-ray specification. And as such, does not have to be limited to being played via a Blu-ray spec compliant device.
Essentially, I'm interested to learn whether it's possible to place Dolby TrueHD audio streams (without an AC3 core) into a transport stream. And if no. Why not.
