I made a php/batch script that is a good replacement for the built in playlist manager in MPC-HC and it works on other players too. It uses shortcuts in the Send To -menu. You can create a randomized or ordered playlist of a folder and all subfolders and then launch that playlist (to player of choice) with just one click.

The built in playlist system in MPC-HC only loads files from the root of the selected dir and the randomize/shuffle features seem broken. I've tried loading a complete video collection of a couple thousand videos to it and it plays it pretty much alphabetically, only skipping maybe 5-20 files each time at random so I end up watching 10 episodes of the same series in a row before moving on...

That being said true random viewing is available for MPC-HC for the first time! You can enjoy your entire video collection without selecting each next video manually, it's like watching your ultimate dream TV channel with a selection of all your favorite series, movies, documentaries, music videos and funny commercials plus a Skip button for ones you've seen lately. Alphabetical order is a nice option for chronological series marathons.

Any feedback would be nice but don't hit me too harshly, this is my first release.
