dvd to ipad

Hey all:

I'm trying to find an EASY way to get dvd to ipad, and I'm running out of luck with anything I try. I have Nero recode, tried various others, all with no success. Nero works great, but the audio/video is out of sync. The guides here are out of date and not very helpful. Can someone please point me in the right direction? Everywhere I go is a dead end, and I'm getting frustrated.

EASY? Handbrake would be my suggestion :)

The iPad is basically an iPhone with a bigger screen. You can easily use an iPhone profile and increase the resolution to full 720x480 if you can afford the bits for it :)

Can't iPad play DVDs natively? If so yet another negative point ...

Apple states that the iPad can only play H.264, MPEG4-SP and M-JPEG.

Awesome guys. thank you all for your guidance and suggestions. just tried out handbrake and seems to be doing the job, and very easily too!
