I can't get shrink to burn on my new computer. It is asking me to install nero to enable burning. I have nero smart essentials and nero burnlite 10 installed. I had no problem on my old computer. I may have had nero 7 on the old computer but I can't seem to install it on my new one because it says that it's missing a file. I don't want to purchase nero if I don't have to.

Hi!
Just use IMGBurn with DVDShrink...

Will it auto burn? Do I have to set anything up?

Is there another freeware comparable to Dvd shrink that might work on some of the newer movies?

Hi joebens,
there is a special version of DVDShrink over at videohelp that uses IMGBurn for burning: http://www.videohelp.com/tools/DVD_Shrink
(look under "More information and other downloads")
If you want to use DVDShrink for "newer titles" I would suggest to use an other program for decrypting such as DVDFabDecrypter or AnyDVD.

If you have a functional burning system, just use the normal (non-burning) option of DVDshrink, then burn the folder as DVD-Video.

You can also have DVD Shrink creat an .iso image file for later burning.
