In trying to back up a Blu-ray with BDRB using BD25 default settings, the resulting disc has a fixed out of sync audio and video. Audio precedes video by 5-10 seconds. I will give more detail on settings, when I know what you would look for. I have been using BDRB for about 2 weeks and updated it to newest version. I have AnyDVD on board. I have converted a BluRay to BD9 without a problem, but that was a different movie.

Problem: Audio out of sync with Video. Audio precedes video by about 5-10 seconds, about the same length of time as the Music box intro clip.

Re-tried with instruction not to re-encode AC3, preserve Swedish language track and high quality (default) encoder settings. Same result.

CPU stats: i7 quad, ATI 5750 Redeon, 6Gig DDR, AnyDVD6.68,

Wish: Point me in right direction. Tell me how to efficiently search a 1000 entry bug report forum.

I know this problem has hit other people, but I cannot find the discussion/resolution of problem.

Hi!Tell me how to efficiently search a 1000 entry bug report forum.

I'd suggest you make your posts to the BD-Rebuilder "Bugs-only thread" in the Rebuilder sub-forum here...

BTW Regarding your specific problem, try loading ONLY the main movie .M2TS file into tsMuxeR and save as a "new" BluRay "package" - and then use it with BD Rebuilder.

This should eliminate the (if I remember correctly) 11 or so seconds of silent "Music Box" beginning before the bird shows up ;>}

setarip_old,

Thanks! That worked fine, as you knew it would. tsMuxer is a nice app. and I guess I will need to play with it some more. I'm am eager to see how it manages multiple M2TS files and their associated audio, subtitles, etc.

I am still disappointed that the bug report only forum is one long thread that I am having trouble searching for specific topics. I really did search for the answer to my problem, sifting through a lot of interesting discussion, but finding nothing as concise and specific as your reply to my post.

I guess a wish list feature for BDRB would be more options than copy movie only and copy the whole disk. :thanks:
