I've been using MeGUI x64 build for the last few months. i have just recently noticed in the log that x264 has been reporting these non-strictly-monotonic pts at frame warnings.

Does anybody have any info on this warning?

edit: Ok, this is a little to hard to narrow down a decent answer with search.

Let me guess, you're using avisynth x64 and resizing.
There's your problem.

It's a bug in the resizing code of the avisynth 64 build.

yeah avisynth x64 and resizing.

I think i'll go back to the 32bit version of MeGUI until this get fixed (if it ever does).

would this problem cause much of an issue with my previous encodes?

And it still is not fixed...
Thanks to newly added internal filters, I'm able to encode without external apps most of time.

No, because JoshyD hasn't updated it since 16/04 and has been awol since 23/05.

@AMED, you existing encodes will be fine.
