( i am not sure if this is the right place for this )

my system is windows server 2008 enterprise, i have an old K-lite codec (K-Lite-Mega-Codec-Pack-2.25), but recently some people started to complain about the audio being not synchronized with video, so i intended to install the latest one but i recieved the following error when i tried to play an AVI file:

Error reating EVR custom renderer
dx9allcoatorpresenter failed
D3DERR_NOTAVAILABLE


SO what is the wrong here, is it that the klite doesn't support windows server 2008 enterprise

Installing the latest DirectX runtime might help, maybe safer to install filters manually, ffdshow and Haali Splitter cover the most important formats.

It's probably related to Beliyaal's renderer changes in MPC-HC. An older version of MPC-HC will most likely work without that error.
