Want to edit a .MOV Video and convert to DVD......need help

hi D9 scene , i have a Gamespot Video that i want to take the end 10 mins or so from it and add black borders and convert to DVD.

Some info.......

Its in .MOV Sorenson Video 3 codec and is 640x480.


I have tried downloading a plugin pack from

http://www.videohelp.com/tools/Virtualdub

the Video opens but when i try to do anything with it it crashes , i have Quicktime installed btw.


I get this Crash Report message from VirtualDub V1.9.9

Crash reason: Integer Divide-by-Zero

Crash context:
An integer division by zero occurred in module 'QuickTimeEssentials'




If anyone knows how i can get this working or can suggest another App and method to do what i want to achieve please suggest them.

You can try avidemux

or

Open with avisynth and FFVideoSource() or QTInput and do your edits in avisynth or vdub

or

Convert to another format to edit using something like ffmpeg or mencoder. You might use uncompressed AVI, or huffyuv for example
