Can I rip a DVD with MeGui and encode it to AVI or MKV?

I have downloaded and installed MeGUI v0.3.5

Now I try to find out thow to rip a (non-protected) DVD
and encoide it into *.avi or *.mkv format

Unfortunately I found no "load DVD" menu.

Can I do it at all with MeGUI?

If yes: How?

yeah just open the 1st TS_VIDEO.VOB in the chain, megui appends da rest for ya :p
