I have been using the default custom size setting of 23450Mb for BD-25. I noticed that there is alot of free space remaining on the edge of the disc. I want to adjust the custom size to something larger, but I don't know how large to make it.
Does anyone have a safe recommendation to maximize the target disc size? Thanks.

But since accuracy is never 100% you should back off of that a bit. But please don't blame me if you oversize or get pixelation when it gets close to the edge... that's why I use 23200 as the default for BD-R.

its not about filling the disc, as Jdobbs pointed out theres more chance of pixelisation due to corruption as you get closer to the edge of the disc. You will be hard pushed to notice any diffrence in pq comparing 500mb +/- of space.

From my experience I get constant ~1Gb undersize with default BD-25 setting.
Recently I tried "23600" custom size with 2pass encoding, the result was OK.
