Demux wma problem

Tried demuxing wma using Media Encoder and Virtualdub and they get stuck at 97%. So I thought the audio was corrupt at this point. I played video in WMP11 and the video stopped at this point. I played it in VLC and the audio and video played all the way thru to the end with no problem. Is there any other tool I can used to try and demux this?

I don't like windows movie maker. I just want another free video editor that can Remove background from videos, bright a particular area, make many cool effects, etc.
