Ripping DVD - UDF Not Closed

Hello.
Got few DVD's created by a DVD Recorder.
They are UDF Format, Playable on the DVD Recorder.
Yet they are not closed (Finalized).

Which DVD Ripper software would be able to read them and copy the VOB files to the HD?

Windows 7 won't recognize the DVD.

Finalize them first.

I'm afraid it would harm them.
They are the last copy of very sentimental videos.

Is there a software which could read them on the PC?

Don't people use search anymore? I looked at just the first two links here and they both report success:

There are two layers of recognising an unfinalised disk. If you pay attention to all the details (hint: images) in the threads neuron2 indicated, you'll [most probably] succeed.

Try either DVDFab Passkey or DVDFabHD.

If they don't do the trick, try ISOPuzzle...

The very last solution to try is to use that DVD recorder as the source and recapture the whole thing with another DVD recorder or a PC-based solution.

I did this once, when the DVDR was so badly burned (it was a bad burn, extremely high jitter) that not even my trusted 5163 could read it (within 2 days it managed to correctly read only some 1/3 of the whole sectors, so I gave up). Yet a Pioneer standalone managed to read it perfectly and could make an analog copy out of it (this Pio had a real video pickup, not a PC drive as most standalones nowadays have).

unless i am mistaken, an open dvd/cd can be read more easily on a dvd/cd burner than just a read.

as for a ripper software, you don't really need one.
you just need explorer, just copy and paste.
this is assuming it is not encrypted. (you can use dvddecrypter too)

I use a DVD Burner to read them.
No, Windows Explorer won't read it.

Then how do you know there are VOBs on that disk?

They are playable (They have a menu etc...) on the DVD Recorder + One of them was successfully read by DVD Decrypter (The same disk was blank according to Windows Explorer).

So DVD Decrypter could rip one DVDR but not the others ...

Yea I couldn't see why as well.
Hence I wrote at the forum, asking more experienced people about it.
I'll try few of the suggestions here.
